Lawrence Randall Drew's life as "Mediator L Randy Drew" can be tracked to a moment in 2011. Drew is a co-founder and the Mediation & Education Systems Director of Southern California Family Mediation Inc. (SCFM). SCFM became a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2019, and is totally reliant on private funding. SCFM mediators have served 4,000 families, since 2014, with agreement rates above 92%. The bulk of SCFM's resources are currently engaged in serving co-parenting families at the 33 Los Angeles County dependency courts. SCFM helps co-parents, foster parents & guardians create their co-parenting, visitation, or contact plans. SCFM mediates freedom from custody, contested adoptions, and adoption-related matters at various California court systems. Since 2016, Drew's been teaching Advanced Family and Dependency Court Mediation. Other education offerings include Advanced Adoption-Related Conflict Mediation, and Conflict Communication & Mediation Education systems. MediatorU.com is in development for beginner mediators. Drew grew up in Van Nuys, California, in a two-parent family with two older sisters. Drew has an MBA-ADR from Pepperdine University (2009). In 2011, the moment he read "The Vibrations of Conflict" by Ken Cloke, Drew knew that mediation could save the world. But how?
