UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT – NORTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA

Judge Alan Jaroslovsky has announced his retirement from the Bankruptcy Court effective July 1, 2017. At the present time, he is not being replaced with a new judge. Effective upon his retirement, the Bankruptcy Court will issue an order reassigning the cases currently assigned to Judge Jaroslovsky. Future cases will be assigned to judges from the Oakland and San Francisco Divisions. Consistent with the needs of the Bankruptcy Court and the convenience of the parties, hearings in Santa Rosa/Eureka venued cases may be conducted in Santa Rosa/Eureka, Oakland, or San Francisco. The court expects to make use of video appearance technology when possible. The judges assigned responsibility for cases that are newly filed or transferred will rely on the Bankruptcy Local Rules and their own procedures, which are posted on the court’s website. Further information regarding practices and procedures will be available before Judge Jaroslovsky’s retirement date.
