Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye took part in a panel at the 27th Annual Envisioning California Conference, “Our Voice: Advancing Civic Engagement in California,” hosted by Sacramento State Center for California Studies on October 7. The panel also featured Assembly Member Susan Eggman and Secretary of State Alex Padilla, and was moderated by Beth Ruyak from Capitol Public Radio. In discussing civic engagement in California, all panelists agreed on the importance of civic learning starting with our youth.
