The Superior Court of California, County of Stanislaus is implementing a new Case Management System (CMS) effective April 23, 2018. This notice is to inform the public of possible delays in case processing as well as interrupted services corresponding to this change:
Case Processing Delay – On April 19 & 20, 2018, the Court will not have access to the current Case Management System. All processing will be manual, paper processes. Therefore, the Court advises customer wait times at counter locations as well as in-court processes may take longer than usual.
Service Interruptions:
• E-Filing (Civil) – Current E-Filing services will be unavailable after 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018. All parties are hereby noticed to file all correspondence at appropriate Civil Clerk’s Office(s) as of April 17, 2018. There will be no exceptions, including time sensitive filings. E-Filing services are anticipated to be restored on April 23, 2018.
• Document Management System (DMS) E-Forms (Family Law) – DMS E-Forms processing, i.e., Findings and Orders after Hearing (FOAH), will be unavailable after April 18, 2018. FOAH’s will be processed manually in court April 19th and 20th, 2018. DMS E-Forms services are anticipated to be restored on April 23, 2018.
• Online/IVR Payments (Traffic) – Online and IVR traffic payment services will be unavailable after 3:30 p.m. on April 18, 2018. If you have recently received a citation or have a monthly payment due during the period of April 18, 2018 and April 23, 2018, you are encouraged to act promptly in order to keep your case in good standing and avoid additional fees. IVR payment option will not be restored. Online payments are anticipated to be restored on April 23, 2018.
• Credit Card Payments at Clerk’s Office Locations (All Clerk’s Offices) – Acceptance of over the counter credit card payments will be unavailable after April 18, 2018. Acceptable payment methods as of April 19, 2018 include cash, cashier’s check, and money orders. Checks will be accepted only for those cases in good standing. Over the counter credit card payments are anticipated to be restored on May 1, 2018.
