The Sonoma County Superior Court Empire Annex, which houses Civil Departments 16 and 17 is temporarily closed due to a “major” mice infestation. All court personnel has been evacuated and relocated to other court buildings. We do not know the cause, but there has been significant construction in the building’s adjacent interior areas, which may have precipitated the issue. Therefore, Superior Court Departments 16 and 17 are closed until the extermination and sanitation can be completed.
