Due to the recent COVID-surge, the Superior Court of San Mateo will shut down specific in-person court appearances and require that parties appear via Zoom. Public Access will temporarily be allowed via Zoom for the following calendars:
- Family Law hearings – DVPA will remain IN PERSON
- Probate matters: – Appt. of a conservator, apt. of guardian, elder abuse Petition for Special Immigrant Findings, Report of Sale/Petition for Order to Confirm Sale of Real Property will remain IN PERSON
- Civil Matters – Name/gender changes and Civil Restraining Orders will remain IN PERSON
- Civil Ex Partes – Pursuant to Emergency Local Rule 3-101, effective January 1, 2022, all ex partes in civil law and motion matters are temporarily suspended until further order of the Court.
