San Bernardino County Superior Court will hold its Seventh Annual National Drug Court Month Celebration on Friday, May 19, 2017, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the San Bernardino Justice Center jury room, located at 247 W. Third Street, San Bernardino, California 92415.
The celebration will begin with opening remarks from Debra Meyers, Deputy Executive Officer, General Counsel, followed by Commissioner Ronald J. Gilbert, highlighting the benefits of drug court programs. Representatives from the Superior Court, District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, Probation Department, Sheriff’s Department, Police Departments, Department of Behavioral Health, Legislators and members of the Board of Supervisors will be present.
The public is welcome to come hear about this most effective strategy at reducing recidivism and rehabilitating drug abusing offenders, some with long criminal histories. Also speaking will be past drug court graduates from each of the drug court programs.
