Placer County announced its launch of the CARE Act Program on December 1, 2024. The CARE Act is a way to allow people to request voluntary treatment, services, support and a housing plan for themselves or another person who has untreated psychotic disorders. This creates a new pathway to connect eligible individuals to treatment and services. Please see the Court’s News Release for details.
