Orange County Superior Court now accepts payments for criminal, traffic, and collection cases at its Mission Viejo facility on Mondays, as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome at the public service windows; appointments are not necessary.
The Superior Court Service Center, located at 27573 Puerto Real in Mission Viejo, is in a commercial shopping center accessible from the Crown Valley Parkway exit off the 5 Freeway. The Court opened this facility in 2015 to provide access to Court services to the more than 600,000 residents who live in south Orange County.
In addition to payment services, the Service Center provides assistance to self-represented litigants in various case types. Self-Help services include legal information and procedural assistance, workshops, public computer use, legal library use, and document review of Judicial Council of California and Orange County Superior Court forms. However, staff does not provide legal advice. Please visit www.occourts.org/self-help/shworkshops.html for workshop schedules.
The Mission Viejo facility is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; it is closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch. For courthouse locations and more information, go to www.occourts.org.
