Invitation to Comment – New and Revised Local Rules for Spring 2024
The Courts are required to periodically review their Local Rules to ensure they are current and in compliance with existing statutes, state rules, and local practices. Once an existing rule has been approved for revision or a new rule approved for addition to the Local Rules, it must be published for public comment.
This section contains information about proposed revisions to existing rules or proposed new rules. The information is provided for the purpose of allowing the public to review the proposed revisions and to provide comment(s) about them. This step in the rule change process is required by rule 10.613(g), California Rules of Court.
Comments regarding proposed rule changes must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Juvenile Justice and Juvenile Dependency Case Reassignment
Effective March 11, 2024:
Judge Vibhav Mittal will be assigned to Department L41 at the Lamoreaux Justice Center. Juvenile Justice cases previously assigned to Judge Antony C. Ufland through March 8, 2024, will be reassigned to Judge Vibhav Mittal on the effective date, March 11, 2024.
Judge June Jee An will be assigned to Department L34 at the Lamoreaux Justice Center. Dependency cases assigned to Judge Vibhav Mittal through March 8, 2024, will be reassigned to Judge June Jee An on the effective date, March 11, 2024.
