Requests for domestic support orders in cases in which the Child Support Services Department is a party must be set for hearing at the Central Civil West Courthouse (CCW), 600 S. Commonwealth Avenue, Los Angeles 90005, unless the proper venue for the case is the Antelope Valley Courthouse. All Requests for Order and motion filings regarding both custody/visitation and support issues in which the Child Support Services Department (CSSD) is a party should be made in two Requests for Order: one requesting custody/visitation orders and one requesting support orders. The hearing on the custody/visitation matter will be set in the local courthouse. The hearing on the domestic support issue will be set at least 15 court days after the hearing date on custody/visitation. Requests for support and custody/visitation in cases in which the Child Support Services Department is not a party are set for hearing in the family law courtroom where the custody case is assigned. The requests may be submitted on one form. Matters currently set for hearing will remain on calendar as scheduled.
