Effective Jan. 2, 2018, the Los Angeles Superior Court will no longer accept direct filings of the Applications/Petitions to Seal Juvenile Records. Pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 5.830(a)(3)(A), the application to seal records must be submitted to the Los Angeles County Probation Department office in which wardship was terminated.
