Join us as Vivian goes over how to calculate damages in personal injury, employment, and other cases, as well as how to calculate interest on overdue amounts. Also covered: the basics of calculating billable hours, lawyer or paralegal fees; how to fairly and accurately calculate settlements, including deductions for legal fees, taxes, or other applicable costs; and how to calculate an executor’s fee on large and small estates.

Vivian Shreve has been a legal secretary/assistant for more than 40 years. Vivian has been an Executive Assistant at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California since 2008. Vivian currently serves as LPI’s CCLS Chair, and prior to that was the Chair of the California Certified Legal Secretary Certifying Board.

She is passionate about the legal field, her association, and LPI. Vivian believes in giving back and has been instrumental in mentoring and inspiring many in this profession. In her spare time, Vivian enjoys cooking for her family, spending as much time as possible with her three grandsons, working with her German shepherd, and playing softball.
