TrueFiling – Sixth Appellate District

When doing a filing through TrueFiling, do you log in under your own name or the under the attorney who you are filing on behalf of? Thanks.

I log in under my own name.

I don’t do it very often, but when I do, I log in using my own credentials, but be sure to list the attorney that I am filing on behalf of.

If you log in as yourself, you need to be connected to the attorney that you’re doing the filing for via connections under settings. It’s easiest to log in using the attorney’s login/password.

I’ve done it both ways, if I’m connected to the attorney in True Filing I will use my login. If not, then I use the attorney’s login.
