When filing a writ petition, the petition must be accompanied by an adequate record. This is called “lodging the record.” In this presentation, we will examine what the record must consist of, how to properly prepare the record, and how to properly lodge the record with the court.
Lynne is LPI’s Legal Education Instructor and LPI Past President from 2020-2022. She currently teaches LPI’s Intermediate and Advanced Legal Professional Training Courses, as well as beginning level classes in the Sacramento area. Lynne has been a legal professional for over 30 years, with broad and specialized experience in several practice areas.
