The Contra Costa Superior Court currently provides interpreter services in Criminal, Traffic, Juvenile, Family Law Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse cases.
AB-1657 requires the Court to provide interpreters in additional case types. Starting Wednesday November 12, 2014 parties may ask the Court to provide interpreter services in these case types:
- Civil Harassment;
- Unlawful Detainer;
- Actions to terminate parental rights;
- Conservatorship; and
- Guardianship.
