ALAMEDA – WELCOMES NEW ACTING PRESIDING JUDGE AND ACTING ASSISTANT PRESIDING JUDGE

The Superior Court of Alameda County congratulates Presiding Judge Wynne S. Carvill on his upcoming retirement after 16 years of service to the Court.

Effective November 22, 2019, Presiding Judge-Elect Tara Desautels will take over as Acting Presiding Judge and Assistant Presiding Judge-Elect Charles Smiley will take over as Acting Assistant Presiding Judge until their elected terms commence on January 1, 2020. The Court welcomes Judges Desautels and Smiley to their new roles.
