The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that it has begun the process of transitioning all remote proceedings to Zoom. The transition follows the 2021 decision of the Judicial Council of California to fund Zoom licenses for all superior courts through Fiscal Year 2023-24.
The transition will happen in phases, with different case types migrating to Zoom at different times. The Court has created a dedicated web page with specific information about each case type, including how litigants will receive notice of Zoom information for their proceedings.
