Just in case you missed the announcement:
The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that on October 12, 2021, it will launch Journal Technologies’ eCourt case management system (CMS). This new CMS will replace the Court’s current Domain CMS for all limited and unlimited civil cases, including unlawful detainers, small claims, civil harassment restraining orders, and civil appeals. Probate, Family, Adoption, and Mental Health cases will continue to be accessed through Domain until October 2022, when they also will transition to eCourt.
As a modern CMS, eCourt has a user-friendly interface and level of functionality that far exceed those of Domain, which the Court developed in-house over twenty years ago. The Court’s new eCourt system will include numerous improvements to further facilitate court access.
