The Alameda County Superior Court is reminding residents not to provide personal or financial information to individuals claiming to be representatives of the Court or law enforcement agencies who contact them regarding jury duty. The Court was made aware of sophisticated scams in neighboring counties where scammers present themselves as government agents and seek financial information residents, claiming that individuals have missed their jury duty date and owe the court a fee for the missed appearance. For further information regarding this alert, please see the Court’s notice here.
